This week, we decided to interview our Siren of the House and all round talented babe Farrah Faust! Farrah has been working at Sky Sirens for almost a year, and we thought it was time to sit down with her and talk about her dance style and what she gets up to in her down time!

What is your name and your preferred pronouns?

Farrah Faust, I typically use she/her pronouns but I'm perfectly happy you be referred to as they/them as well

What's your star sign?

I'm an Aquarius sun, Virgo moon, and Taurus rising

What do you do at Sky Sirens?

I am one of the Siren of the House team, greeting students at reception and answering calls and emails! :)

What do you do when you aren't at work?

When am I not at work?? Haha, at the moment I'm juggling three jobs, but in my occasional downtime I can usually be found reading, exploring museums and art galleries, or enjoying the outdoors on a bushwalking or a picnic.

What apparatus/es do you do? How did you get started?

My favourite apparatus is pole! I started pole dancing at Sky Sirens in 2018 and instantly fell in love with the combination of strength and beauty required by the discipline. I also really enjoy floorwork classes and learning chair tricks.

How would you describe your dance/performance style?

My dance and performance style is very much based in eroticism - I love working on a sexy, slinky flow! - but it's also influenced by my musical theatre background and my love of creating and exploring a character through song.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Well seeing as travelling anywhere in the world right now seems like a crazy fantasy, I would like to run away to the Enchanted Wood to climb the Faraway Tree, and see what magical land I end up in!
